In 2025, the Hanoon Foundation began sponsoring two undergraduate medical students whose studies had been disrupted, enabling them to continue their medical education in the UK. They are hosted by the University of Leicester through its Displaced Medical Student Initiative, which also waived their tuition fees, allowing the students to complete their degrees without interruption.

The Hanoon Foundation has also signed partnerships with Brighton & Sussex Medical School and Queen’s University Belfast, with further collaborations currently in progress. To date, the Foundation supports two students at the University of Leicester, two at Brighton & Sussex Medical School, and one student at the University of Oxford, reflecting its growing support for medical students in higher education.

The students have expressed their gratitude for this opportunity and their intention to contribute positively to healthcare and their communities in the future.
