“I’m a 4th-year medical student at the Islamic University of Gaza. Also, I have two sisters studying engineering at the same university. Actually, this put my family in a difficult financial situation and I was worried if I could complete this semester and for a moment, I felt that my dream of studying medicine had become unattainable until receiving this bursary, which reopened the door of hope for my family and me. Literally, it was an exciting moment when I heard that I had been awarded the FQMS bursary. This enables me to cover a large part of the fees and complete the second semester this year.
