Little Health Heroes: Supporting Children Through Health Education and Interactive Learning

Haya, together with Majed, Mohammad, Anas, and fellow students from Al-Quds University, organised a community outreach activity titled “Little Health Heroes” on 14 May 2026 at SOS Children’s Villages International.

The initiative aimed to raise health awareness among children through fun, interactive, and educational activities focused on healthy habits, personal hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, oral health, emotional wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.

Children participated enthusiastically in a variety of engaging stations, including handwashing and dental care activities, healthy eating games, movement-based challenges, emotional wellbeing discussions, environmental awareness activities, and educational quizzes designed to reinforce healthy habits in an enjoyable and supportive environment.

The activity received very positive feedback from both the children and SOS staff, with participants showing great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day.

Through initiatives such as “Little Health Heroes”, students continue to play an important role in supporting community health education and promoting healthy lifestyles among children.
