On Sunday, 15 June 2025, a film screening and Q&A event featuring 2073 was held at Genesis Cinema, London, in support of The Hanoon Foundation and the legal fees of ‘Big Ben Dan’.

The event was organised by Critical Collective and featured a screening of 2073, followed by a discussion with the film’s award-winning director Asif Kapadia in conversation with investigative journalist and Pulitzer Prize finalist Carol Cadwalladr.

2073 blends archive footage and commentary with elements of science-fiction drama, offering a powerful cinematic warning that explores the major challenges facing our world today.

The event raised a total of £1,260.81, which was donated to The Hanoon Foundation to support medical education and a self-sufficient healthcare system in Palestine.

We thank the organisers, speakers, and all those who attended and contributed to the success of the evening.
