“It is with profound gratitude and deep respect that I write this letter to express my heartfelt thanks to the Hanoon Foundation and the Madrinha Trust, whose generous support helped me complete my journey through medical school.
As I proudly graduate as a medical doctor, I find myself reflecting on the many steps that led to this moment and without a doubt, your great support stands out as one of the most pivotal.
When I began my studies, I knew that pursuing a degree in medicine would not only demand intense dedication and effort, but would also come with significant financial responsibilities.
Thanks to your scholarship, I was able to walk this demanding path with a greater sense of security and focus. Your support provided more than just financial aid—it offered me the peace of mind to immerse myself fully in my education without the constant anxiety of financial strain. This scholarship was more than a transfer of funds, it was an act of trust.
It signalled that someone believed in me, in my ability to succeed, and in the value of my dreams. But what touched me most deeply was the way you stood by me during one of the most difficult periods of my life-the war on Gaza.

At a time when I could have easily been overwhelmed or forced to give up, your care became a powerful reminder that I mattered, that my education mattered, and that there were people-despite the distance-who truly believed in my resilience.
