In April 2025, a supporter celebrated the birth of their baby and later invited friends and family to an afternoon tea on 14 June 2025, encouraging donations to The Hanoon Foundation (THF) in lieu of gifts. This thoughtful gesture brought together community, celebration and solidarity, with £1,000 donated to THF in support of medical education in Palestine.

THF focuses on supporting medical students and young medics facing financial hardship, including orphaned students and those experiencing particularly difficult personal circumstances. Access to medical education is essential for the long-term resilience of healthcare and the wellbeing of communities.

We are grateful to supporters who choose to mark personal milestones — such as birthdays, anniversaries or new additions to their families — by raising funds for THF. These acts of kindness help ensure that students can continue their studies and training despite the challenges they may face.
