Filmmaker tells her story of growing up being full of pride about her great grandfather’s achievements, only to discover that the forests he planted were a cover up for the destruction of Palestinian villages and their ethnic cleansing.

Film will be followed by a discussion with:

🔹 Khaled Dawas: British-Palestinian Surgeon and Honorary Associate Professor at UCL. Dr Dawas was part of two emergency medical teams to Gaza since October 2023.

🔹 Ilan Pappé: Israeli Historian and Professor of History at the University of Exeter. Author of The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.

🔹 Neve Gordon: Professor of Human Rights Law at Queen Marry University. Co-author of Human Shields: History of a People in the Line of Fire.

Proceeds will go to FQMS: a British-registered charity that supports medical training in the occupied Palestinian territory. Since Oct 2023, the healthcare system in Gaza has been systematically decimated and health workers targeted. Over 500 have been killed and 118 detained/arrested. With over 85,000 reported injuries in Gaza and the tragic loss of professional expertise, investing in medical training is investing in hope and the rebuilding of a society that would, for years to come, be recovering from genocide.
