To mark her birthday, Manal Masalha chose to bring together friends and members of her local community to raise funds for The Hanoon Foundation (THF). The gathering also created a space to reflect on the importance of striving for a just, safe, inclusive, free and equitable world for all.

The birthday fundraiser raised £6,174, which has been donated to THF to support the training and development of medical students and young medics in Palestine.

Since 1997, THF (formerly known as FQMS) has been committed to investing in medical education and building long-term healthcare capacity in Palestine, with the aim of supporting a self-sufficient and resilient healthcare system.
