Our Partners

We work with trusted and experienced local and international charities to achieve our aims.

Juzoor for Health and Social Development (Juzoor)

Juzoor is a Palestinian non-governmental organisation, founded in 1996, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Palestinians. They work within the West Bank and Gaza promoting a coherent, interdisciplinary, cross-sectorial approach to improving the health and social wellbeing of individuals, families and communities. Amongst its objectives is building the institutional capacity of health and social organisations through developing human resources, promoting sustainable systems, and enhancing networking and partnerships, which is why they have partnered with FQMS on the postgraduate training programme. By increasing the range of sub-specialities, the health care system will be strengthened and reduce the dependency on foreign referrals.

UN Accreditationas a Civic Society Partner

THF is delighted to announce our recent United Nations accreditation as a Civic Society partner. This was awarded to us by the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People and will allow us to develop a wider platform to present our work and achievements. Our impact in the field of medical education and our endeavours to support student doctors has been recognised as a prerequisite to strengthening civic society in Palestine and accreditation will allow us to take advantage of United Nations resources and networks to increase our reach. More information about the Committee’s cooperation with and support to NGOs is available on the “Question of Palestine” website maintained by the Division for Palestinian Rights of the United Nations Secretariat to support civil society efforts worldwide.
