The Hanoon Foundation has funded world-class medical education for aspiring Palestinian doctors for nearly 30 years.

I am a medical student at Al-Quds University. The financial support from the Hanoon Foundation has been a great help, allowing me to register for this semester and continue my studies without interruption. However, this assistance has meant much more than just easing my financial burden—it has given me motivation, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

This grant is not merely financial support; it is a beacon of light illuminating my path toward realising my ultimate dream of studying human medicine, a powerful impetus that has awakened hopes within my soul that were on the verge of fading under the weight of the harsh living and economic circumstances burdening my family and standing as a genuine obstacle to the completion of my university education.

I want to say thank you from all my heart. You gave me a chance when I thought my dream was over. I always wanted to be a doctor, but because of my hard life, I couldn’t register. My family is very poor. My father has no job because of the war. My sister has autism and needs care all the time. We don’t have money for her treatment. You didn’t just help me go to school — you saved my dream, my future, and maybe, one day, someone else’s life. Thank you for believing in me when I had nothing.

Due to your generosity, I am now able to continue pursuing my university education free of the paralysing burden of financial stress. Your donation has allowed me to study more diligently, participate in academic and extracurricular activities, and work towards achieving my long-term goals with greater energy and confidence.
